Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel Wedding – Disneyland Wedding Photographer – Lindsey and Robert

I’m so excited to share Lindsey and Robert’s beautiful Disney’s Grand Californian hotel wedding with you! I had been looking forward to it so much since the time that they booked me. Disney’s Grand Californian is such a gorgeous hotel and an absolutely stunning place to have a Southern California wedding. However – the morning of the wedding I woke up, looked outside, and saw that it was pouring. My heart just sank for Lindsey and Robert – but then I remembered – Disney does everything in amazing style. If you’re going to have to go on “rain plan” for any wedding, Disneyland weddings are the perfect place to do it.

I instantly fell in complete love with Lindsey and Robert. They are not only amazing people, but simply awesome. Lindsey is a super smart and hilarious girl, and Robert compliments her perfectly. We share the same sense of humor – so you knew it was going to be an awesome day. I mean, really, when you play the Imperial March during the ceremony, have the pastor say “May the force be with you”, “Rick Roll” everyone at the reception, and purposely have your brother crash all your formal photos giving thumbs ups in the background, you’re going to be my new best friend.

We start out with some portraits of our handsome groom on the balcony of their room in the Grand Californian.

You guys all know how much I love some killer dress shots. The sun came out long enough for me to be able to take it to the Hearthstone Lounge.

I also love Lindsey (for many reasons, really) because she is so simple and beautiful. She did her own makeup for her wedding and still looked stunning. And she wore her glasses. We girls with glasses have to stick together.

Just before the ceremony, the sun came out from behind the clouds. The ground was still wet but we were able to rock some great bridal portraits.

Since the ceremony was moved from the outside terrace into one of the ballrooms, Lindsey waited for her entrance in the hallway just outside the main lobby. So many people were walking by and staring and wishing her well…

…That why not bust a move in the middle of the hotel?

It was a beautiful ceremony, with just enough fun to show their personalities throughout.

And what ceremony exit could be better than having confetti shot into your face???

The outside terrace is where the ceremony would have been if it hadn’t rained. After the ceremony the sun came out and gave us this gorgeous light.

While they are Disney fans (and it is a Disney wedding after all), the “Disney” ness was pretty subtle throughout. So I just had to make sure we got the Disneyland Monorail in there!

The grounds of Disney’s Grand Californian are so beautiful for a wedding!
